Join author Ryan T. Pozzi at The Reading Room in Omaha on October 25 for an in-conversation event celebrating The Mess That Made Them: How History’s Greatest Artists Failed, Floundered, and Made Something Brilliant Anyway.

Pozzi will sit down with award winning Iowa author Kali White VanBaale for a lively conversation about the messy realities behind creative success, why we tend to erase struggle once someone becomes legendary, and what these stories can tell us about persistence, ambition, and making meaningful work when nothing is going according to plan.

The conversation will be followed by audience Q&A and a book signing. This event is free and open to the public. Beaverdale Books will be on hand at the event if you’d like to pick up a copy pf Ryan’s book.
